WHAT IS DAHAM SEVANE SINGITHTHO? Daham Sevane Singiththo, the Children's Development Foundation established in on 20th November 1990, in Bodirajaramaya of Army head quarters of Panagoda Sri Lanka, is the largest provider of early education and after-school services for children in the City and Country.

Overall mission is committed to providing high-quality Early Childhood Education services for children in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment that promotes each child's social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth and competency through appropriate experiences. The Department validates the cultural and linguistic heritage of each child and supports families in maintaining their children's physical and mental health.
Does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, or ethnic origin in the administration of education policies and opportunities. Daham Sevane Singiththo does not include religious instruction or worship.

A big part of improving the lives and futures of poor children is bettering their families’ living conditions.
Having finished his preliminary education at Colombo Maligakanda Vidyodaya Pirivena He has completed his higher studies at Colombo Hunupitiya Gangaramaya, and Dikwell wevurukannala Pirivene, and Sampurananand Sanskrit Varanasi University of India. He commenced the Children's Development foundation call Daham Sevene Singiththo at Bodirajaramaya of Army head quarters of Panagoda for the purpose of development inherent abilities and spiritual discipline of the children of Sri-Lanka in on 20th November 1990. Later it was broadcasting on Rupavahini as well as Radio Sri Lanka regularly.

The Sri Lankan National Television Broadcasting Service, "Jathika Rupavahini" is the broadcaster of the Children program "Daham Sevane Singiththo"
SCHOLARSHIP FOR CHILDREN
Provide the scholarships for the members of Daham Sevane Singiththo each year. This is basically designed for Children in low income families in Sri Lanka.
